The club needs volunteers to help with club management, the maintenance of the clubhouse itself and dinghies and other non-Rib stuff. We need people to fill some roles - these are not committee roles, rather they are "doing" roles and can actually be a lot of fun.

We have a need for people to:

1) help Rear Commodore Craig Hunter out in the clubhouse - fixing, cleaning and keeping things shipshape

2) looking after club boats - they need a check-in February rig, sails up and anything fixed. You can either adopt a boat or turn out on the Bosun maintenance day.

3) join the sailing/training sub-committee - a great way to extend your skills and sailing background knowledge. Meets occasionally and is always a hoot.

4) Regatta Manager - this is an organiser role, not a race officer or driver role - it needs some detail done but it's our main sailing event and is a very rewarding experience. The regatta is in September.

5) skilled people are invaluable to FYC - if you can do bookkeeping or finance, funding applications and publicity/social media or maybe assist with planning applications then we would love to hear from you so we know what skills members have.

6) Training Centre Principal (this is currently a role I fulfil but I will be resigning from this role in March as I have too many other commitments and will be unable to do it effectively). Centre Principal is a shore-based role making sure that FYC complies with training standards and that our training complies with RYA Guidelines. It's most suitable for someone who would like to be involved with training and has some sailing experience. You do not have to be a qualified instructor.

Please reply to Max on with what you could offer so I can see the response and forward expressions of interest to the right people.
